Dr. Leigh J Sowerby
Biography
Dr. Sowerby completed his undergraduate degree at Bishop’s University in Quebec, before heading out west for medical school at the University of Calgary. He subsequently completed a 5-year residency program in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario in 2011. During residency, he received the William W. Montgomery Resident Research Award from the Triologic Society, the PSI Foundation Resident Research Prize and the PAIRO Trust Fund Resident Teaching Award. His current academic interests include Samter’s triad patients, aspirin desensitization, epistaxis, topical therapy for sinus disease and sinonasal outcomes in skull base surgery.
He is currently a Rhinologist and an Assistant Professor at Western University in London.
